Big E Selvedge Jeans

Sunday, November 4, 2012

A small British based selvedge jean company launched this year, re-creating traditional denim into a unique, hand-crafted jean brand.

Big E Jeans produce their denim on original shuttle looms, all threads are sourced from an original US cotton thread supplier dating back to the 1900's.
Big E jeans are only produced on Union Special and vintage Japanese sewing machines, produced in the company's own factory.  The whole production process is done individually, by hand.
Every back jean pocket stitching, is designed in the shape of the Golden Gate bridge, San Francisco.

As yet, Big E's website is not ready, but they are available to buy online through Woodhouse Clothing found here

By the looks of it, you can tell that it is a well made jeans. Love the pocket design too. :)
