Brag Your Best Buys Winners

Monday, October 8, 2012

A huge thank you to all participants that entered into, and voted for, Recycled Fashion's first Brag Your Best Buys thrifty fashion outfit contest.  Also very importantly, a big thank you to The Brotherhood of St Laurence Community Stores and The Birdcage Boutique for sponsoring the contest.

What fun to see a page dedicated to an array of eclectic pre-loved fashion outfits.  From second-hand designer labels to vintage clothing, casual to office wear, dresses to suits, great shoes and children's outfits, all entrants prove to us that fabulous fashion does not have to cost the earth.

We have our winners, in order of the number of votes received:

1st Robles Children

2nd Juliet Newth

3rd Alice Shel

Runner Up Emily Gavranich

Full details of each thrifty outfit seen above, can be found on the description under each photograph on the contest page here

A runner up prize was not planned, but as Emily Gavranich missed out by only one vote, I've decided to extend the prize list.  Emily, you'll be getting one of my handmade zipper brooches.  Congratulations to all of you!

I hope Brag Your Best Buys contest will become an annual event, please stay tuned for 'Brag Your Best Buys Round 2' next year.
