Second-hand Outfit = Red White Black

Sunday, May 13, 2012

Yesterday, a few friends got together, we chatted, our kids played, and we swapped our unwanted's.  Our swaps were not limited to fashion, we contributed children's toys, books, house furnishings and even food.  I swapped Branston pickle, for this skirt and turquoise top (I kid you not readers).

Cropped jacket - previous clothes swap party
Zipper brooch - me made
Belt - op shop
Boots - eBay
Turquoise top - yesterday's get together swap
Skirt - yesterday's get together swap

Secondly, following a recent obsession with recycled paper bead making, I've finished my outfit with a me-made arm party paper bead bracelet, to match my 'new' skirt.

Paper bead bracelet made from a Lindt chocolate box, a postcard, and a page from a real estate brochure.

Can also be worn as a necklace

Paper bead arm party, in red, white and black.

Inspired by Mother Nature, the Red Bellied Woodpecker
