A skirt for wet weather

Monday, February 14, 2011

Who would have thought such beautiful skirts could be made with old umbrella's:

Yes that's right readers, these skirts were umbrellas in a previous life! The clever Cecilia Felli, from Varese, Italy, sells her creations on supermarkethq, priced at $90 each.

What an excellent idea, no? Once I find a suitable broken umbrella, I shall attempt to make one myself. Umbrella skirt now on the 'to do' list.

I will be on the lookout for you on those gusty days! I'm feeling the multicoloured one.

omgggggg that rainbow skirt! LOVE!

Wouldn't it be "one size" though since an umbrella only has so much fabric?

Love them!, hey HED, larger girls like me, would just have to settle for a Golfing Umbrella !

Such a good idea !
I have never thought about it and it is the very first time I see this, but it is really nice
(a good end for all broken umbrellas ;-)!).
I especially love the multi-colored one.
