This funky yet sturdy recycled yellow belt has heavy gauge stitching and a 2 pronged buckle in gun metal, with matching eyelets.
I have an interesting and fun giveaway competition for you - if you can guess the material of which this belt has been made, you will be in for a chance to win one for yourself, with a second belt to be given away to one Recycled Fashion reader. If more than one person guesses the correct material, a winner will be picked randomly.
To avoid revealing your answer below, please email me with your guess, and comment below saying you have entered.
Here are a few clues:
* The belt is from London.
* The belt's material has a distinctive smell, although not unpleasant.
* The belt can been purchased from a new UK based eco-driven online accessory retailer, selling pieces made with innovative sustainable materials.
:: Recycled Belt Giveaway ::
The belt's material and where it can be purchased will be revealed next week once the competition closes on Friday 9th May.
I look forward to hearing your answers.
*UPDATE 14 May 2014 *
The competition is now closed, out of 35 guesses over various social media outlets, 19 of you guessed right (how did you know? I thought it would be difficult!). The correct answer is.. a London Fire Brigade's yellow hose. Made by Elvis and Kresse, this unique belt is sold via London based ethical accessory website Kitty DoLittle. My son picked a name out of a hat, and the winner is Candy Culnane. Congrats Candy, Kitty DoLittle will ship out your belt.
