This may not mean much to everyone, but for many, such as I, this is kind of a big deal. How else will we follow our favourite blogs if we can't read them in Google reader?
Blog readers (and blog writers) are scrambling to find a replacement platform with which we can receive our daily dose of blog posts. The best option for the time being appears to be a Swedish built website called Bloglovin.
"We created bloglovin´ so you wouldn’t have to visit un-updated blogs, open ten windows in your browser, or forget your favorite blogs' web-addresses. With bloglovin´, we wanted to make your blog-reading fun and easy." Bloglovin
Opening a Bloglovin account is free, you simply add all the blogs you want to follow, and when you sign in, you'll see all the latest posts of your favourite blogs listed in your home page.
Goodbye Google Reader, hello Bloglovin.

Yes, everything is going to change rather rapidly - but it may be quite wonderful for Bloglovin. I have been using it for a few years, and it is a really good platform - so I can never understand why it isn't more popular. x
Según donde lo uses funciona mas o menos bien. Prueba también feedly, que creo que es lo mas parecido.
Yo también te sigo en google reader.
Thanks for that ... I had heard rumours but didn't really understand what was happening or how I would deal with it. I shall check out Bloglovin now.
I agree, Bloglovin' is pretty darn good, and a graceful transition.
Feedly is also a good option too, especially if you follow a lot of blogs!
I don't have a bloglovin account yet and I am going to have to sign up before July gets here. It sure is sad that Google reader will be gone. :(
