Recycled Fashion Finds # 64

Friday, March 22, 2013

Thrifted sheets, pillowcases and curtains, are some of my favourite fabrics to create fashion with, which appears to be the case for many other crafty stitchers too.

On last fortnights Recycled Fashion Finds, there were five thrifty fashion link ups which used household material to sew into clothing and accessories (you clever lot!).
There are some other clever refashion projects, and thrifted fashion outfits linked up too, pop over here to have a look.

Fortnightly Recycled Fashion Finds Friday link up encourages readers to share their thrifty fashion projects, finds and outfits around our blogging world.

Link up your thrifted finds or upcycled creations, into the inlinkz link below.  Feel free to share more than one project or thrifty find, it's always great to see what you've been up to.

Don't forget to grab yourself a Recycled Fashion Finds blog badge for your blog post or side bar, or link Recycled Fashion Finds in your blog post.

My shirt, sweater vest and brooches are all thrifted or vintage (or both) so I've linked today's outfit. Thank you for hosting!

Awwwwwww thank you so much for including my ballerina sheet flares in your round-up Erica. I still have to pinch myself every time I look at them - I love them so much! Isn't it awesome that so many people are making such amazing gear out of glorious cotton sheets? YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS ... now that truly is eco-sewing:) xo

Thanks for sharing my aprons. It's cool that so many people are making wearable items from sheets! I also like seeing the diversity of patterns on linens, especially large prints that would be hard to find on regular fabric (like those ballerinas!).
