I used the top half of a 60's Simplicity 5132 dress pattern that Mr RF found at the side of the road, and created a 1960's or perhaps more 1990's crop top?
Crop top's are not my bag at all, perhaps my former 21yr old self would, but my 30something self would not dare show a bare midriff (motherhood partly to blame) However, I do like that I can wear a plain black vest underneath the pucci crop, which perhaps emphasises that psychedelic blue print even more.

Whilst browsing Pucci prints online, I found this Pucci dress worn by Nicole Richie in 1997:

Nicole Richie's Emilio Pucci Sleeveless High-Neck Dress, $1,070
My cropped top version, for less than a dollar
Question readers, would you wear a crop top with bare midriff in your 30's, 40's +?

NO crop tops in a woman's 30's and 40's. Bad bad bad.
The neck detail is really pretty, great job! And I couldn't even tell that was Nicole Richie in 1997!
LOVE that fabric. But yeah - crop tops...no way. On anyone. Ever.
The fabric is beautiful. I had a dress similar to NR's in 1969. It wasn't Pucci, but a knock-off and I loved it so much.
You did a great job on the top.
Oh my gosh that is SO perfectly Pucci! I love it, great job! I think you can pull off a crop top in your 30s/40s - just look at Gwyneth Paltrow! :)

It looks great. I would have worn with bare midriff up to mid twenties, but then had kids. It's not dreadful, but no longer a great feature to highlight - so no. But if you've still got it - why not!
I absolutely love the fabric. And is is so cool you found the pattern. Way to go!
Nope.... I'm nearing 60 now, but would never have bared my tummy in my 30's and most definitely not in my 40's either. Just not cool.
It's very flattering to you - the colour, the shape and your great work!
