A word on the heels. Why I love to shop in op shop; no pushy sales assistants.
Vinnies volunteer "You're not going to buy those are you?"
Me "The shoes? Yes! They match a dress I am wearing for a wedding"
Vinnies volunteer "But how are you going to walk in them?"
Me "I'll be OK, I'll change into another pair if I need to"
Vinnies volunteer "Hmmmph, OK, I just don't understand how anyone could wear heels like that, enjoy the wedding"
Love it

Hahahahaha!!!!!! That dialogue between you two is just priceless!! And THAT'S why I HATE buying retail - you miss all that "what the hell are you buying this for?" banter. Instead you get "hi-how's-your-day-been-are-you-out-shopping-today-wow-I-love-your-top-we-have-that-in-other-colours-as-well" FECK ORF!!!!!! I absolutely LOVE the zip flower - have you done a tutorial? If not, why not? ;)))). Hope you have a lovely time at the wedding in your lovely outfit:) xoxoxo
Thats right D! Who needs that rubbish fake convo in retail shops, which reading between the lines bascially says "I don't really want to know about your day, but I want you to buy something right now"
Zip flower ... we'll ask secret op-shop Santa about that one and see if one might work its way to Brissie ;) xx
love the zip flower - did you sew it together or glue it?? I agree with Desiree, could you do a tutorial? I have made a few but can't get the shape right? I hope the wedding is lovely.
I have a zip flower I made into a brooch, love it in your hair though. I found it a right bugger to stitch through all those layers of zip.
Charity shop volunteers - gotta love them!
you look so pretty, I love the butterfly dress and DIY zipper hair clip. I have to agree on the pushy sales assistant, I'm glad to spend half a day at the thrift store peacefully
