Recycled Fashion Finds #16

Friday, September 23, 2011

It's Friday, and that means Recycled Fashion Finds! I appreciate your submissions and love to see what you've been thrifting or making. A few handpicks from last week's Recycled Fashion Finds...

Skirt, reconstructed into one shoulder top
by Be-Have Urban Atelier

Adjusted red Jeans

Just Jo altered the shape of her thrifted red jeans for a much more flattering fit

Ribbon Tie Necklace
Made by Alison using beads from her Great Aunt and flower made with muslin offcuts

Sweet Heat Neckline Dress
Handmade by Sew Her Style

What did you find (thrift) or create this week? Would you like to share:

  • A second-hand fashion garment you found at a market, thrift store, op shop, charity shop, car boot sale, fete, garage sale, at the side of the road?!.
  • A fabulous recycled fashion find you scored online.
  • A refashion project
  • A hand-me-down
  • A garment you've made yourself
  • It could be a link to a clothing item you are selling on your online store
  • A sewing pattern, or fabric you've found which you intend to make into a fashion garment
  • Your clothing item need not be vintage, although we do love a good vintage find of course.

  • *You can share your finds and creations on the link up below.*

    Link up arranged through InLinkz

Thanks a lot for showing my top! I have so many altered creations but I started just recently to do the pics of the garments before altering them! (Usually I'm so excited to start that I don't want to spend time doing the pics!)
