A visit to the Resource Rescue in Bayswater, resulted in bags filled with yarn, zips, paper craft, fabric, ribbon, elastic, vinyl, hessian sacks and some great upholstery samples.
The Resource Rescue is a new non-profit outlet supplying the community with eco-friendly craft supplies, that may otherwise end in landfill.
I made a waistcoat out of the following upholstery fabric sample packs, the linen on the right used as lining.
using an existing waistcoat as a template....
Linen lining and bias tape finish does in fact make my waistcoat fully reversible ....

what a cute waist coat. I love it, especially the print, it has an asian feel to it.
