Erica, I have a friend who crochet's and she started teaching me last winter. I'm a knitter(a very basic knitter) and I found starting out with the crochet style so hard after knitting. I think it's just a matter of a lot of patience and a lot of practice. Keep going girl! I intend to get stuck into it when the weather cools again. I just can't do that sort of thing in summer. Feels wrong.
