Op Shop Finds - Bayside Tour

Sunday, September 5, 2010

Happy Sunday, blog readers!

Today I share my weekly op shop finds which were found yesterday, whilst on my Melbourne Bayside Op Shop Tour. Despite the terrible weather, six of us braced the drizzle, and visited six of my favourite second hand shops in Cheltenham, Mordialloc and Frankston.

Credit has to be given for all the delightful vintage things to be found in Family Life, Cheltenham. This is becoming by all time favourite op shop, due to all the brilliant things to be found here each week.

Yesterday's finds were: a vintage tricycle, a vintage Singer sewing machine, two huge wicker picnic hampers (didnt take a photo), a beautiful bird cage, and oh so many other delights. Additionally, all mens clothing discounted by 50%!

My fellow op shoppers bought lots of delightful things - this photo was taken half way through the day during our lunch stop:

My finds for the day were this gorgeous red polka dot purse for $2 from Cheltenham Opportunity Shop:

And this English Queen Anne bone china vintage tea cup and saucer set for $10 from Savers in Frankston:

A day of op shopping, is a great day!

Pop on over to Her Library Adventures' Flea Market Finds to check out more of this weeks thrifted finds from around the world.
