Ashley Hackshaw from Palm Desert, CA is one very clever lady. Not only does she sell fabulous recycled childrens clothing made mostly from old t-shirts on her bigcartel store:

Ashley also sells PDF tutorials on how to make your own similar recycled clothing at home. PDF files are around 20-30 pages, with patterns, tips and tricks for sewing fabrics, excellent news for a beginner. Being that her pattern tutorials are PDF files, they can be emailed across the globe for anyone to try. Her novel idea is hugely popular, with over 1,150 tutorials sold on her etsy store alone. The following 'Recycled T Shirt Hoodie' PDF tutorial can be purchased for US$9.

"Recycling t-shirts is not only an economical way to make clothing for children, but also an easy way to make one-of-a-kind, comfortable, soft clothing that you could never find in a store!"

Her flickr group allows fellow crafters to upload photos of their own completed recycled clothing using Lil Blue Boo tutorials to the Lil Blue Boo Flickr Gallery
